Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ShortsForge (the "Service"), operated by ShortsForge ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ShortsForge is a tool that generates short vertical videos from a topic or template using AI — writing a script, generating visuals, adding an AI voiceover, music and captions, and (on paid plans) scheduling and posting them to connected social accounts.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Paddle handles the transaction, invoicing and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.
• Plan features, quotas and prices may change; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive, infringing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that violates the rules of the social platforms you post to. You are solely responsible for the topics you enter and the content you publish.

5. Connected social accounts & auto-posting

If you connect TikTok, YouTube or Instagram, you authorise us to publish videos on your behalf according to your schedule. You remain responsible for complying with each platform's terms. We are not liable for actions taken by those platforms (including account suspensions).

6. Content & ownership

• You own the videos you generate and are responsible for how you use them.
• You grant us a limited licence to store, process and deliver your content in order to operate the Service.
• AI-generated output may be imperfect or resemble other works; you are responsible for reviewing it before publishing.

7. Fair use of generation

Video generation runs on real compute. We may apply reasonable limits, queueing, or throttling to protect the Service, and may suspend accounts that abuse it.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific results, view counts, revenue, or uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use means acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
